PROGRAM 

 

Day 1: Australia – New Caledonia

Upon arrival at La Tontouta International airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. You will be staying at Le Meridien Nouméa, the most luxurious 5 star hotel in Nouméa, offering good services with direct access to the beach!

Day 2: Noumea

Take this day to spend as you wish. Noumea combines all the laid-back atmosphere of the South Pacific with the urban elegance of France—from the profusion of old French colonial houses, with ornate wrought-iron balconies, tree-lined squares, and men playing petanque, to French-inspired cafés, restaurants, and designer-label shopping, Parisian style. In contrast, a ten-minute walk reveals the contemporary architecture of the Baie des Citrons, Anse Vata, and Port Moselle, Nouméa’s modern face. Nouméa offers a prolific variety of leisure activities, from tennis, golf, squash, and cricket to bush-walking, horse riding, and hunting. The huge barrier reef surrounding the island makes water sports the main recreation; activities that can be enjoyed year-round include sailing, windsurfing, swimming, snorkelling, and scuba diving. A ten-minute walk from the resort leads to a taxi boat that can take guests to Duck Island or Ilot Maitre for snorkelling or simply relaxing on a sunbathing chair.

Day 3 & Day 4: Noumea

Day at leisure. For your last night, you can savour a wide selection of gourmet French cuisine, both à la carte and theme buffets with a show, within 10 minutes walking distance from your hotel.

Day 5: Noumea – Bourail (175 km/108 miles)

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Sheraton New Caledonia Deva Resort & Spa (5-star), New Caledonia’s newest resort (2.5 hours). Situated in Gouaro Deva, in the Bourail district on the central-west coast of Grande Terre, the Sheraton New Caledonia Deva Resort & Spa is surrounded by verdant tropical gardens and the emerald waters of the southwest Pacific. The Deva Domain is a natural reserve of unspoiled hills and valleys of dry forest and unique biodiversity facing 13 kilometers of white-sand beach.

Day 6: Bourail

Enjoy a Buffet breakfast at your hotel. Combining Melanesian tradition and traditional French influence, your resort is the perfect home base for exploring the spectacular waters and marine life in this part of the Pacific Ocean. The house reef offers an array of aquatic and recreational activities, such as diving and snorkeling amid the prolific marine life. Partake in water sports including sailing, windsurfing, jet skiing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and kite surfing. Join the fun with a game of beach volleyball with new friends, or simply soak up some sun on the golden-sand beaches. Try your hand at fly-fishing or angling. Charter a boat and take an excursion out to sea for the day, or paddle a canoe or kayak down a river or on a lake.

Day 7: Bourail

Enjoy a Buffet breakfast at your hotel. There are plenty of land activities here too. Grande Terre has some of the best hiking in the South Pacific—follow one of the old mining and forest tracks amid native plants and birds. Play a round of golf on a great 18-hole course, or enjoy a game of tennis, squash, or cricket. Explore the area on a bicycle or take a riveting horseback riding expedition in the mountains.

Day 8: New Caledonia - Australia

Buffet breakfast at your hotel before you will be transferred to La Tontouta International Airport for your homeward flight. (90 minutes)
