Day 01: Noumea

You’ll arrive at Tontouta International airport and make the 45 minute transfer to your hotel. Once settled in, why not get out into the city and try sampling the food? With around 140 world class restaurants and cafes to choose from, featuring food from every region of France, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Ask one of our specialists to point you in the right direction.

Day 02: Noumea

Take this day to spend as you wish. Among the wonderful activities you could enjoy are: 

• The Tjabaou Cultural Centre: A living testimony to the expression of the Kanak culture – symbolizing the reconciliation beween the two people.

• Faubourd Blanchot and Promenade Pierre Venier

• Day trip Escapade – Maitre Islet: Located around 20 minutes from Nouméa this is a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It’s a true paradise. 

• The Maritime History Museum: features a permanent exhibition based on New Caledonia's maritime history, from the first sailors to travel the Pacific in canoes to La Perouse and Captain James Cook.

• Le Petit Train City Tour: Catch the little Train for an fun and original commentary tour of Nouméa. 

• Zoological and Forestier Park: A lovely chance to get back to nature.

• Ouen Toro Hill: for a panoramic view over Nouméa and seawards to the tropical islets and blue waters protected by the barrier reef.

• The Colourful and Lively Nouméa Markets: A wonderful place for coral reefs and deep sea fish from Marlin and Tuna to Sardines and Parrot-fish – a huge array of local vegetables and fruit, plus displays of local arts and craft,

• The City Museum: where you will learn everything about the Caledonian capital.

• Baie des Citrons: This bay is a very sheltered bay, an extremely family-friendly bay with a lovely beach, restaurants, cafés and nightclubs.

• Scuba Diving: Take a trip into the depths of Nouméa’s wonderful lagoon. Known as the largest lagoon in the world is has an incredible number of dive sites – most of which are classified.

Day 03: Noumea - Isle of Pines

Today, you will fly to Isle of Pines (25 min), one of the most beautiful and romantic island in the world.

Upon arrival on Isle of Pines, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 04 to Day 06: Isle of Pines

Breakfast daily at your hotel.

Days at leisure. Among the wonderful activities you could enjoy are: 

• Kuto Beach: Make the most of this wonderful beach, but remember that the rock is now off limits to tourists.

• Oro Bay Natural Swimming pool: full of wonderful tropical fish.

• The Remains of the prison: In the 19th century this was the site of a French Political Prison. Here you can learn about the area’s rich and vibrant history.

• Cemetery of the political prisoners: Known as Les Déportés this is a dedication to all the prisoners who lived and died on the island.

• Brosse Islets or Nohanhui Islets: Two wonderful little tropical paradises which will offer a day you’ll never forget.

• Queen Hortense’s Cave.

• N’Ga Peak (262 metres high): An hour’s walk will bring you to this wonderful mountain providing spectacular views of the islands. 

• Gadgi Beach: A great chance to relax by the sea.

• Outrigger Tour on Upi Bay: Sail on a traditional outrigger on Upi bay’s limpid water as you gaze at blocks of corals that are scattered around the bay and finish off by joining into the peninsula of Oro on paths shaded by forest.

Day 07: Isle of Pines - Noumea

Breakfast at your hotel. Then you will be picked up from your hotel to Isle of Pines Airport for your flight to Noumea.
